Vittamed is an early stage medical technology company developing ultrasound-based brain non-invasive physiological measurement and monitoring technologies including the measurement of absolute value of intracranial pressure, real time cerebral blood flow autoregulation and intracranial volumetric wave monitoring. The company is based in Kaunas, Lithuania. Ultrasound based non-invasive methods of brain diagnostics have been tested under clinical conditions in recognized neuro-centers in EU and US.
Vittamed’s non-invasive technologies will allow improvements in the current management of invasive ICP monitoring and the expansion of neurological monitoring to a wider group of patients, conditions and clinical settings.

Microplast is a Norwegian based injection moulding company with over 40 years experience. MPlast have 44 employees operating 33 injection moulding machines. They specialise in small plastic components of less than 1kg and have the added value of employing 7 toolmakers in-house. MPlast have broad experience in thermoplastics and operate cleanroom facilities to ISO 13845 and ISO 9001 procedures. However, MPlast are not insulated from any economic downturn and are seeking to diversify their existing product portfolio to increase their presence in the medical sector. Additionally, MPlast traditionally undertakes development programmes that are much closer to market, limiting the research development that they undertake.
